Christmas in Canada

Dave, Corey and I had a great time visiting Canada for Christmas again this year, even with all the extra snow we had.

The drive there and back was uneventful and safe, which we were very thankful for.

Corey had her first experience of the snow, and she seemed to like it... a lot more then she liked the sand on our vacation in the summer anyways...

We didn't get to see everyone we had planned to because of the weather, but we had our traditional Christmas Eve celebration at Oma and Opa's and our Christmas Day Dinner at Grandma & Grandpa's. Everyone but Lynn's crew came, plus a few extras - but we went to Lynn's for dinner on Boxing Day.

We also got to spend a little more time then usual visiting with my mom, and got to see my brother and sister for a visit, so all in all we got to spend some quality time with people.

Dave got a Canada "Poor Boy" hat for Christmas from Auntie Kimmie and Louie, which everyone enjoyed modeling:

Corey also got a cute little dress to wear for Christmas, made by none other then her Auntie Lynn. No one else tried this one on though:

Next stop, Goldendale for New Years Eve Celebrations!

Christmas is Almost Here!!

In case you can't tell, I am getting excited and into the Christmas Spirit, despite the snow (which I do not consider necessary to enjoy Christmas).

Our Christmas will be busy, but full of friends and family, which I am looking forward to.

This Thursday is Dave's Christmas Band & Choir Concert at the Middle School where he teaches and also my Mom-In-Law Patty's birthday, which we will celebrate after the concert.

Then on Friday we depart for BC about 3 p.m. We will spend an entire week there visiting with friends and family and having a truely "Krasey Christmas" complete with Christmas Eve at Oma's House and Christmas Day dinner with Grandma and the gang. Corey will be traveling along with us as usual.

Then its back to work for a couple days (for me atleast, Dave enjoys a nice 2 week break!) and then on New Years Eve we are headed in the opposite direction to Goldendale for a belated Christmas Celebration.
I am looking forward to lots of time spent with Family on both sides in the next couple of weeks.
I hope everyone has a joyous christmas season!!

My Anti-Blogging Husband

So apparently I have an anti-blogging husband. When I went home on Friday all excited and told Dave I started a blog he had 2 comments, "Why?!" and "Don't put my name on it." It's a family blog, so his name stays! He reluctantly agreed since it was done.

I am not sure what makes Dave anti-blog, but don't look for any postings authored by him on here anytime soon. Perhaps one day we will pursued him... maybe when I give birth and he needs to blog pictures of our first born... but even then, I doubt it.

I think its time to start an anti-blogging spouses support group! :)
